Deltar

The Deltar

In music, there are many families of musical instruments: the lyre family, the lute family, the guitar family, and now the Deltar family. How are they related? To answer that we would need a family tree based on scientific research into the origins of each instrument since the famous Sumerian lyre was discovered in Ur. Let us leave that to the music historians!

In modern times, Elvis and the Beatles in the fifties and sixties used their guitars to great effect and created a lasting legacy of guitar-centred pop music. Since then the explosion in the guitar’s popularity has spread to every place on earth. It has become the instrument of choice. It is versatile, it is sexy, it is easy to use, readily accessible and creates an unbeatable sound. Seeing young people carrying their guitars with them symbolizes the modern way of life and the universal nature of music and its power to communicate to everyone. Technically though, the guitar can be categorized as a fully matured member of its family. It earned its respectability when it was rebellious and was rejected from orchestras and concerts. That time has gone. The guitar has been the star of pop music. Just imagine Elvis without his guitar! But now is the time to develop a different form of stringed instrument.

So much for the guitar and now to the Deltar. Perhaps every instrument is born an orphan until the musical DNA test proves its rightful musical parents. The Deltar has to do that to achieve legitimacy to be equal among equals.

Fortunately, the Deltar is founded on a strong scientific pedigree. It is rooted in the calculus, and it has been developed using the latest modern technology. What else does the new infant of the musical world need! It is beautifully sculptured, musically sound and highly ergonomical. It is the Deltar.
